“My paintings are a visual expression and interpretation of what I consider delightful, beautiful and inviting! My subject matter varies as my inspirations reveal themselves.
Because of it’s colour, richness, flexibility and texture, oil paint is my medium of choice. When I paint, my intention is to compose an image with colour, emotion and a pleasant mood that invites the viewer to be a part of the work and want to be there.”
Margery was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She graduated from the University of Manitoba with her Bachelor of Fines Arts degree and later earned her Education degree.
